Tonight, I’m being taken by a friend to see Eivør and Heilung. I have IMMENSE gratitude, as I honestly didn’t have the funds to go.

I’m spiritually prepping for all the work I’m going to be doing to help add to and direct a portion of the flow of the ENORMOUS amount of energy that Heilung brings up and through their rituals – to help all of the healers and spirit workers I know who’ve been getting HAMMERED with chronic, relentless pain and illness brought on by this unprecedented season of initiative purge after initiative purge.

It’s very much needed, but Mother Night, this has been rough.

Evolution usually is.

May we finally be AT the 3.5% of humanity needed to begin the larger healing conversations about addressing all the forms of abuse within our varying communities, throughout the globe. Community is how we begin the process of repentance and repair between ourselves, then extending that forth into the world beyond.

Trending: The Nomadic Lifestyle

Back in 2011, after a break-up with the last person I dated, my spirit sister Ahmadi Usikubara suggested the idea of living and working out of a van. I didn’t have a lease to break at the time and I really had nothing tying me to this area, so I said ‘fuck it’ and bought this gorgeous powder blue Dodge Ram van from an older gentleman who would take his buddies to the casino in it. It was SWANK, light blue interior coupled with dark wood paneling that looked like it be longed on a nice boat. My little land ship – Matilda, was given a new life.

I stayed living in Mathilda for the next 2 1/2 to 3 years until I finally settled back down in Virginia to reconnect with my friends and family.

I still fondly thing on those days. Being a nomad was COMPLETELY FANTASTIC for me. I was apparently scary enough that nobody really gave me shit or hit on me while I was on the road. I can Mask Like A Mofo when I need to – which is helpful, but was exhausting at the time.

I can pare down and do it again, if things collapse.

It’s a good thing to know about myself.

I really love having a house, and lots of comforting stuff – but there’s something really seductive about the nomadic life.

Articles like this seem to be coming out more often. This is what ends up happening when a government decides to utterly fail its own citizens in favor of corporations.
